Could be, but I don't know for sure since I'm not using VLC. Googling that VLC command, checking their forum or the help on the available commands might help out in clarifying what exactly happens then, since this is more of a VLC question than a Rainmeter one. If interested, it seems there are some alternatives to that command:Is it possible that no values are passed to the window when it is started immediately in minimized taskbar mode? Perhaps the values are only updated when it is maximized or opened?

but I don't know if they're still accurate / relevant today, since the original question is from 10 years ago. Another option would be to try and see if creating a VLC shortcut and running that shortcut minimized works for VLC (this should work with the PowerShell command, since it's the same process):Bottom line, I'm sure a solution exists, I'm just not that familiar with VLC to point it out right away (it's been a long time since I last used it, and even then only briefly).
