Help: Rainmeter Skins • Re: Meter to left/above skin

Hi. I have a thumbnail image in bottom/right corner of skin. When mouse is over thumbnail, I would like the image to increase to full size, which expands farther to the left than the left edge of the skin (and possibly above the top edge of the skin). What happens is that the image increases to full size, but is cropped to the size of the skin. Is there any way to have the image left edge begin to the left of the skin? I'm pretty sure the answer is "No" by just setting 'X' and 'Y'; but is there perhaps some workaround?
No, you can't extend outside the edge of a skin in the left or top directions. Nor can a skin "grow" to the left or up. I think the best approach is to set the SkinWidth / SkinHeight so the overall skin is large enough to contain everything, then use X and Y to move stuff down and to the right. Then the image can expand left and up as needed, changing the starting X and Y of the image while it is expanding, while staying inside in the overall skin size.
